Surgery Scheduled

Hi everyone,

My Surgery is scheduled for Sept 8!;) I can't wait im so excited! I had to stop smoking 6 weeks before surgery so i decided to try it now(which is hard) but im one week in so im doin great! Has anyone here smoked before the band and after the band?? I would like some advice cause sometimes i think to myself are u gonna start smoking again and if so what are the risks?:eek:

I quit smoking 7 months before i got banded and havent touched them again! Amen! try to not light up again its the best thing you can do for yourself, i quit with a prescription from my doctor they gave me chantix and it really worked i smoked for over 20 years a pack day, i wish you the best!!!!
