Hi to all..

I'm new to this and I've got my 5th app't with my reg.Dr. next Monday, 6 is required before I talk to the Dr. for banding..I really need information as to what to expect as far as food intake before and after..I saw the nutritionist but she mainly told me what to expect after and I still have questions, so if you all will help me through this I would appreciate it...I'm off caffeine and that was horrible but I'm good now...still miss it..I was told to get citrate calcium, can you take pills with the banding? or does it have to be chewable? I have the chewable vitamins...yuck ...but I guess I can get used to them...I'll have more questions later...thanks all.

Hello to all too! I am also new here to LBT. I rec'd the approval from my PCM and waiting for people to contact me from the Scott & White program in temple. I have tricare-prime and just wanted to know if anybody out there has gone through S&W? I am just at the 100lb mark, BMI 41, and have pre-hypertension; but if I lose 10lbs my ins. wont pay. Does anybody know how long is the process to surgery? I have been reading this forum for about a month and it is awesome.
