post op nausea

I was banded on June 19th. The 1st week after surgery I didn't have any nausea; however, I'm now having lots of nausea in my 2nd week. I haven't vomited or anything, but I just get really nauseated either in the afternoons or wake up that way. Anybody else?

Are you eating enough? Is your sugar or iron getting too low? Sounds to me like you need nutrients. I get like that when my sugar is low. Does it improve after you eat? I have not gotten nauseated, but very weak and sick feeling. I've had to stop getting ready a couple of times, and lay down. It usually clears up when I eat or drink something. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Banded on June 24th

I haven't been banded yet, but I am nauseated almost every day. Ginger containing products have been a lifesaver for me. Try some ginger tea, ginger altoids or other non-sugar ginger product.
