Sliming is when you eat something, maybe too fast or not chewed well enough and it sort of gets stuck. You have discomfort and pressure in your pouch area and you might cough or hiccup producing a thick, sputum. This is sliming. Sometimes it's a large amount of slime, too. It's quite strange.

Could someone please explain to me what sliming is?? sorry so gross just curiuos?

Sliming happens when you get something "stuck". As a natural defense, your body goes into overdrive producing large amounts of saliva (to help wash the obstruction down).

Ok, this same thing happens to me everytime I eat sherbet. And I'm not banded! I absolutely love sherbet, even more than ice cream, but it's so gross when this happens that I hardly eat it anymore.

I wonder why this happens to me, i thought maybe I'd eaten too much of it, but no, it also happens when I have very little.

Oh well, since the subject was brought up, thought I would add my gross story!
