25/m getting banded june 10th. just wondering if anyone around new jersey wants to chat

I am on my 4th week of the pre-op liquid diet and even though I have lost about 14lbs and feel better, I am CONSTANTLY thinking about food.

hackensack is nice and close to me, like 15 minutes. however i live around the corner from mountainside hospital so thats where i will be getting banded. i have one more test to do before the surgery(stress test). i don't know why i have to do a 4 hour stress test when i already got approved for insurance, but what an i do?

i will def be posting and reading the forums after surgery. i am sure i will have questions, and hopefully some answers for anyone getting banded after me.

hang in there paty. in my opinion the pre diet might be the hardest part. if we are able to maintain a diet we might not need the lapband.

i am lucky, my dock just wants me on 3-4 small meals a day with tons of Water, Protein and Vitamins but i know how tough it is to diet.

Great Jeff...Good luck! My cousin works in Mountainside & it's a great hospital. Keep me posted! I'll try to email you later...I'm supposed to be teaching my class now!! LOL
