What is your calorie intake daily??

My doctor has just asked me to stay under 800 calories a day after he did my first fill. I was banded 3/18 and have lost 26 pounds since surgery. I did have a three week plateau just before my first fill where I didn't loose any weight.

Just wondering how many calories everyone else is getting that keeps them loosing?????

Hugs

I was banded 3/28 at the University of Wisconsin and had my second fill this past Monday. I have the Realize band and now have 6 cc in it. Currently, I eat about 1500 calories per day and burn about 500 with exercise. I walk 2 miles each morning with the dog and later hit the gym or ride my bike. I am down 36 pounds from the start of this journey, which was mid-December when I went to the seminar. It hasn't been easy and I have gotten very frustrated because it takes more will power than I thought it would. My current fill isn't doing much so I am tracking my calories closely, trying to follow band rules, and reminding myself that future fills should make it easier. Good luck!

I was eating about 1100 calories a day, then I hit a plateau. Just recently changed my calories to 900 and upped my exercise, now i losing again.

i do about 1500 cals a day....its harder on the weekends, but so far I havent gained. Plus I run for 50 minutes a day, so Im good! i dont insanely count cals, but i do watch what i eat.

I eat 2,000 calories a day and burn 500-750 calories through exercise everyday. My body doesn't seem to lose on low cal diets.

At 2 weeks I was told I should be having only 500 calories a day. I thought that was ridiculous. I was averaging 700 and following their menu and food program precisely. I also felt great. So I ignored that and then started mushies, which probably upped my calorie intake a little more. But I'm losing now, wasn't before, and still feel great. The Dr. said listen to my body. The dietician was confused on many things, and so I am not sure if she was right about the calories or not, but I'm going to continue to follow the menu plan and measure everything. I'm not counting calories. I exercise, and I weigh myself. When there is a plateau, I'll think about counting up calories to make sure I'm not "over eating"--which sound silly when my meals consist of either 4 oz or 1/4 cup, and 3 protein shakes inbetween.

I eat about 1200 a day.....never higher than 1300. I also burn about 300 cal a day with cardio/strength training. I plateau about every 3 weeks (3 weeks steady loss, 1 week no loss). Finally hit onederland today!!!
