  1. Hello...I am soooo like you with the fills....I am on the edge. Right now I don't feel that I am filled enough, because I can pretty much eat anything I want. But when I go to get a fill, a small amount is too much and I'm gagging and foaming. That seems to be the only time I lose....Is when I'm too tight and can't eat anything. I need motivation!!! I only need to lose 30 more pounds and this seems to be the hardest!!! LOL HELPPP
  2. im dealing with this now for the 2nd time......i feel horrible, but as soon as you get a little liquid out, you will notice great relief.....
  3. I have been banded since March 08' and I am in the same boat as you are...I know I am not over eating and i get hiccups from very little food... I am feeling like I have pressure on my chest. Sometimes I am able to eat regularly but for the past 2 days it has been bad. I am even getting the reflux at night. I have an appointment to get some liquid out of my band on Monday. I have did this before and I can safely say that your band is too tight. Even with the removal of a small amount of liquid, you will be able to tell a big difference.
  4. I am in that position now....My band is too tight and I cannot hardly eat anything and when I do, I have to throw up. Right now, i have lots of pressure...I feel horrible, but luckily I have a Dr's appt tomorrow! i don't care how much they have to take out, I just don't want to keep feeling like this...
  5. I just had my 4th fill on 1/13/08.....I have major restriction, as I cannot hardly eat anything. I ate 2 pieces of bacon and felt like throwing up...I don't know if this is good or bad......
  6. I am looking for encouragement as well as food tips and just someone to talk to about things only we go through...If you are interested, please email me....Breezytjones@yahoo.com
  7. that happens to me....when i drink coffee now i get the jitters! and i was banded 3/10/ 08....
  8. was banded 3/10/2008......have since lost 41 pounds
  9. I eat 1500 to 1550 calories a day, plus I work out everyday. I have lost 32 pounds so far. Was banded 3/10/08.....
  10. i do about 1500 cals a day....its harder on the weekends, but so far I havent gained. Plus I run for 50 minutes a day, so Im good! i dont insanely count cals, but i do watch what i eat.
  11. She is right! I don't even own a scale....I like that I have to go way out of the way to weigh myself. The scale that I use is at my job, way in another buliding from the one I am in. So when I do want to weigh myself, (which is once a week), I really have to make an effort....
  12. :w00t:Stop scale Obsession Do you weigh yourself every day? Do you worry about even the slightest change in your weight? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you may be obsessing over the scale — and if you're trying to maintain healthy habits, this behavior can actually be counterproductive. The truth is, your weight may change from day to day for many reasons. Fluid retention, hormonal fluctuations, constipation, and even the food you eat right before stepping on the scale can cause daily ups and downs. These variations can be misleading and worrisome if you don't understand them. For an accurate measurement of your weight, weigh yourself only once each week and on the same scale every time (different scales may give different readings). An even better method of measuring your success is to let your belt be your guide. If your clothes fit better and you feel better, then you're getting healthier — even if the bathroom scale doesn't show big changes. Ultimately, it's up to you to stop scale obsession. Weight loss takes time, so patience is required.Remember, if you're practicing weight-healthy habits, you will enjoy better health, and the extra pounds will come off in the process — whether you step on the scale every day or never again.

  15. I WAS gonna buy a scale, but decided against it, because a friend told me I would probably be weighing myself everyday. So I didn't buy one. Now I just weigh myself once a week on the scale I have at my job for our "Biggest Loser" program. It is accurate, and I'm im not tempted to weigh everyday because the scale is clear in a whole different building.
