Hello everyone!

I finally got approved after working on this for 6 months. Alittle of my story. I have been big my whole life. In October I started this process. I got denied in February because I had gained weight.(My place never said I had to lose weight just had to show up to my appointments). So I appealed it and got approval, the letter came on May 19th. I scheduled my surgery fo June 9th. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I feel a big weight off of my shoulders.

Congratulation! I was excited and scared at the same time too. It went better than I thought so I guess I didn't need to be nervous but there is no way anybody could have convinced me otherwise before. You'll do fine and once the weight starts coming off you will be so glad you went through it all. :biggrin2:

congratz! im still waiting. it is killing me waiting like this. i had to jump alot of hoops to get this done. so im hoping to get my letter soon. im going to call this week if i dont hear anything.

I totally get the waiting thing my doct faxed my appeal like on the 10th of April. Got a letter from the doctors saying they received on the 29th of April and found on on the 19 of May. All the while checking my mailbox everyday for news.
