Finally Approved!

I've been trying to have Lap Band Surgery for over a year. I went to my first seminar April 2007. I have been to every meeting required. I jumped through every hoop the insurance company required and yet they sent me a denial letter. I was devastated. I decided that I was going to give up that easy, I was going fight this, so I appealed the case. I met with a Nutrientist a few times, got a second psych evaluation, gather all my information together and sent it off to the claims appeal office. Two months later, I recieved word that I had been approved!! I can't beleive. I am in total shock. I am estatic! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Congrats! It took me 10 months for clearances and approvals. Yes, the insurance denied me at first. But I was filled on April 14. One of the best decisions I ever made.
