My lap band scheduled for May 14th

Hello all,

I made the decision to have the lap band about 3 weeks ago and will have it done next wednesday.

My doctor is Dr. Aaron Cenero in Sherman, Texas.

Because my employer has an exclusion to weight loss procedure it will be a self-pay...but this Dr is very nice and worked hard to help me make this happen. Even at a cost to him so he comes HIGHLY recommended so far!!

I am 39 with a BMI of 44.0

My highest weight ever was 368, first Dr. visit 349, currently 342...

Hope to lose 110-125 total...

On liquids for 7 days now and already lost 7 lbs...7 more days to go till the surgery...

I will keep everyone posted after the surgery...

Bill, we're nearly neighbors. I live in McKinney. Good luck on your surgery Wednesday! Trust me, this is the best thing you'll ever do for yourself. Heck, the money it cost you...you'll make that up in less food you have to buy from now on. But then again, the new clothes you'll have to get as you lose, will be expensive but so darn worth it! My starting BMI was 86 and now it's 34. I still need to lose some weight but if I were just taller, I'd be all good! Again, good luck and if you ever have any questions or need some moral support, you know where I am.

WOW..you are very lucky...normally it takes at least two to three months after the seminar and consultation to get surgery...good for you...you go bill....i wish mine was that fast, then it wouldn't give me time to chicken out or change my mind...

Becky...I just cried when I read your post and how far you have come with you weight...OH MY Goodness...you are awesome...great job to you...i wish you all the love and continued success...god bless and god speed

Bill,

I am also using Dr. Cernero and my surgery is also May 14th.

We will probably pass each other in hallways. Good luck.
