today was my anniversary too.. I am 62 lbs down.. and thought I would be more.. I have to say.. I feel like I need to start from scratch to hit 100 that was my goal .. so back to basics... Congrats to everyone..!

How are you doing going on Week 4 Monday? What are you eating? Are you trying real food yet? I have had a few little things but not bad. I seem to be doing well with my foods.. but can see that it is control, not the band that is working right now.. I could see eating the wrong things now if I dont stay on top of it.. anyone else think like me? I have not weighed again since my first Dr Visit.. I may weigh on Monday to see how I did 3 weeks down.. Well just wanted to say hello and hope you are all doing well..:tongue2:

I went to my dr and told him I couldnt eat hardly anything and thought I needed an unfill.. he said... well isnt it working? and to wait another few weeks.. he did do an upper GI to make sure that nothing was wrong... It was normal... so I still have no unfill 10 #'s down in 5 weeks.. so maybe he was right.. I can get a little more down but small bites.. and chew chew chew.. I can drink anything, but no bread, or some meats just get stuck.. and then I am done.. dont want to try to eat anything else... I love soup... lol

I am still fighting an over fill... but we had an ice storm last week and my hill still is covered in ice.. so I didnt get in.. I can keep down soup and jello things like that. just cant keep down real food. it slims.... I will see how next week is and if it still happens call for an unfil... but down 7 lbs.. in 9 days... lol

WoW great job!!! I have only lost 53lbs you keep going... we will have our year anniversary before we know it.. I had it the same day

Big snow storm heading our way.. might not be able to get into drs until thurs or fri... oh well, I can handle a few more days of soup and banana's yogurt, avocados those go down easy.. in small amounts...lol

Thanks I ate an egg today soft boiled. but could only eat one.. I will call tomorrow and see if they can get me in.. I dont want to be afraid to eat solid foods and at this rate I am heading in that direction.. if I can eat an egg with out getting that feeling then how can I eat chicken? k one more day of soup and avacados.. lol

I had a fill on Tuesday and can still only eat soup and avocado's anything mushy. I think I will wait another couple days to see if the swelling goes down.. I was only given 1cc but I pb almost every time I eat solid food. even in small amounts and bites

51 lbs since 5-19-08 wish it were more but very happy so far.. and just got filled 2 days ago so more to come!

Well I must say this is the first fill holiday start Thanksgiving and ending after my BD on 1-3 that I have lost weight.. only 2 lbs... but I usually gain and then start the New Years Diet only to gain it all back by Superbowl and Valentines day.. then Saint Patricks day and so on and so on... I got 1 full CC this time.. my dr only gives me small fills cuz he ends up having to take them out.. but this time I think so far 1 was good.. I wll kow when I can start on mushy foods tomorrow.. I will say eating soup today I felt tight.. so wondering... anyway just checking in... Take care and keep in touch

I managed to maintain through the holidays now I have to get serious again.. I have to admit I have slacked of really bad over the holidays.. Time to get my mind right and get back on track.. Go to Doctors on 1-20 dont want a scolding..lol Happy New Year May Bandsters!

Hey May 19th bandsters.. how are you all doing.. I am going along slowly... but still going... I am now at 263 from 317.. 53 lbs... I keep thinking it should be more but in reality that is almost 8 pounds a month.. we are on our 7th month.. so I would say that is good...lol hope all are doing well and hope you check in !! Merry Christmas!

I heard it was from the anistesia that it took almost 4-6 months to want to leave your body and through the hair??? I am losing a lot and this month and my surgery was 5-19. I was getting scared, but get my protein.

hey may 19th bandsters.. what is up..? I went for a fill today.. only 1 1/2 cc, I cant do more than that or I start the PBing right off.. this is the second time they had to take some out. and they always have a hard time finding my port, takes stick after stick after stick.. both times... I just hope this little bit helps me feel full again.. I dont go back until Nov 20th so I have a long time between.. hope all are doing well!!!

well I went in today and he tried to fill me 3cc's and had to take some out.. I kept 1 1/2. so now I am at 3 1/2 total he said that I am the one in 5 that can only go slow and low (cc). this was my second fill that I had to have some taken out right away.. and I knew it had to come out.. but we will see if this 1 1/2 will help me feel fuller.. I hope so... ..

ok I called and have an appointment thursday morning.. will he fill??? we will find out!! thanks

Thanks, I know I lost fast in the beginning, but his excuse was that I was on track and should wait.. it is just a tool.. etc.. I am going to call now.. thanks for your encouragement!!

I am eating more and more, my doc didnt fill me last time. I had my surgery May 19th and only one fill.. no wonder I am hungry... I gained 3 pounds in 2 weeks.. my support group is tomorrow and I am telling the nurse to make my appointment sooner.. he had me at oct 25th.. that is too far out... I could gain 10 by then.. Iam trying.. really but I am so frustrated that I went through this and cant get a fill when I need it..

I went for my second fill and my doctor would not do it.. he said I was doing well on my own to wait for 6 more weeks... WHAT?? had a surgery to be told to do it on my own ??? He stressed that there are only 10CC's and I should save them for when I need the other 8 I have... so i am on 2CC's Total weight loss was 42 lbs since surgery on May 19th... I can eat what ever I want to... I feel like I am on WW not lapband.... oh well we will see how I do..

Sorry to hear that..I had a fill last week my first one and dont feel to much restriction.. but still hanging in there.. still keeping track of what I eat everyday Iam going by calories easiest for me to get my protein. so far the scale is going down..slow but going down.. hope all my May buddies are doing well... Keep in touch!

I got my first fill finally, cant wait to see how it works...liquids only for 2 days. hope everyone is good!!

My surgery was May 19th, but I went on vacation and he was gone so today was the first day I could get in to get my fill.. they usally wait 6 weeks

I had my first fill and unfill today.. he gave my 4cc's and I could not keep the water down.. so he took out 2 cc's.. he had a hard time finding my port spot both times.. I was a wreck.. glad it is over..hope that because I could not keep the water down that 2 will be enough for me to start with... I am going to have a big bruise.. I just know it..lol
