:banana I want to start by saying Congratulation! to all that have been banded so far this month. I was banded on Thursday 4-7-05 in Monterrey, Mexico with Dr. Rumbaut. Wow! I can't say enough about him and his staff!!!!! Great people. Im not sure what one of my doctors names is but I know I had 3. My mother and I were treated like royalty. The hospital was very clean and very pretty. Marble was everywhere. The day of my flight was horrible. I was told when I reserved my airline tickets that a voters regerstation card was good enough to show citizenship? Well it's not, So I had to catch the later flight, run all the way back home and get birth certificate and marriage licence. What a way to start. I have good advice GET A PASSPORT !!!!! So any way I made it to Monterrey and had surgery the next morning. I was checked on by the doctors everyday. They even came to my hotel room to see how everything was going. I can't even begin to thank everyone that has helped me, and for that I am very greatfull!!! My journey has started.
