Onions

I am scheduled to have lapband surgery on May 20th. I love onions and I was wondering if the band will tolerate onions. I have one of those onion shaped cooker and I use it to cook vidalia onions in the microwave. I usually add a little chicken broth, butter and seasoning and cook about five minutes. The onion is fat free and low in calories. Has anyone had problems with cooked onions? :confused2:

Everyone is different. I have not had a problem with them. I can't eat rice, my friend can't eat hamburger meat but I can. just test a small amount first then if all is well, go for it!

Good Luck
