Newbie from Texas too

Hi I'm Shannon. I go into surgery April 3rd. I've been on the pre-op diet for three weeks. I can't wait to get this overwith. I'm ready to start eating small multiple times a day and learning what it's going to take to lose the weight and keep it off.

Smgallop, WELCOME!!!!!

There is a wealth of support here. Ask any questions you want. Congratulations on your new journey!!! You will hear this over and over again. The BAND is only a tool. You have to use it properly. You will learn how to do this through the process. It takes a few fills/adjustments to get to whatever the proper restriction is for you. There is no magic number. Oh and behavior modification is still important.

Again, WELCOME!!!

:shades_smile:Hey Bunny,

Dr. B also did my surgery. I was banded on March 13th and LOVING it. He is a great Dr.!! I am about 3 weeks post-op and have stopped losing weight, but I am also walking anywhere from 2 to 4 miles a day. I am not really hungry and do not get my first fill until the 14th - any suggestions on keeping the weight going down?
