Feeling so many mixed emotions ........

Hello All,

I can't believe I'm actually trying to make a post, but you all have made me feel so welcomed and amongst friends already, I just received my surgery date today, I am being banded on March 31st, wheww seems like a whirlwind since my 1st consultation up til now :(, but I am so excited and so looking forward to a healthier, happier new me, I am so thankful to have others who know what the struggle is like and for having this support that I know I am going to need along my journey, keep up the good work to you already on the journey and God bless all of you for being here for me and others like me, and I will be posting keeping you all updated as I travel along my weight loss journey.

My surgery is next Wednesday and I know how you feel. It's a combination of scared/excitedness! Scared of the post op pain, scared of the post op diet (And if you're like me, scared of the needles!)... but let me tell you... NO ONE HAS DONE MROE RESEARCH ON THIS THAN ME! -- and I just want to let you know one thing that you REPEAT TO YOURSELF OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!:

It's totally worth it.

Congrats! And ALWAYS feel welcome posting!!

March 31st seems so close. I was banded 2/11/08 so am still fairly new. I'm learning to read myself a little better.

Congrats again and keep us posted!

Wow, it's not the easiest thing I've had to do in life , My Dr. has me on a liquid diet from now til my surgery date 3/31/08 (yeahhhhhh) I am getting more and more excited and finally letting it all sink in, my insurance isn't covering all the expenses so I'm a little stressed about that because now I have to come up with the 6,000 insurance isn't covering, but it's well worth it, just not sure where the moneys going to come from, please keep me in your prayers and pray that God sends me a miracle cause I sure could use 1 right about now.
