I just found out my Dr is going to use ON Q pain buster on me when he sends me home any one ever used it or know anything about it. Is the Cath made of Latex? I have a Type 1 Latex allergy

Yes, my Drs used OnQ pain buster. I had my surgery on Jan 25th. the On Q was no big deal at all. They just say it helps relieve pain. You take it out yourself at home on the 2nd day...or so many hours after surgery - didnt hurt at all either. Im not sure what the Cath is made of - but there is a little ball like thing that you can hang off your shirt. Just ask ur dr abut it - they will explain, but it turly is nothing to worry about. Who is your Dr??

I think that is a great option that they send us home with the On Q! - less pain - My doc was out of KY! When is your surgery!!! I just had my first fill today..........this is the best thing I have done for myself!! You will be so glad when you have done it.
