I lost 25 lbs in the 1st week then another 12 over 2 weeks. then noted than I was gaining 1 or 2 lbs between days then losing it again. It is water wt we vary a bit day by day. dont worry and stay off the scale for a bit you may find when you get back on it you have lost Hess

How long did you go before the 1st fill? I can eat and drink what I want and although my WL is slowing it i still ther. can you be a at SS unfilled? Hess

I'm an RN have done lots of ports the Huber needle is much stronger than the normal fine tip I have had to access a port once that way sure could bend or break a needle my thoughts are if you dont do this for a living you are foolish to do on your own even if you do work with ports I would not do my own. now if I had a real good peer I may ask them but the min you mess with your own then you void any resp. of the doc so you may be on you own Hess

I got HF from adipex in the past. It is speed. loved it. Cant say the sameabout the HF that I now have for the rest of my life. Seems like we change one obsession/addition for another. Dont get me wrong I understand it We really get into losing that when we dont it messes with our heads. I wonder do we go the other way? like eating disorders where you puke. From overeating to not? Kalipso2 My doc did the tube after they put me out. that and the cath. never knew I had them, till I had to drink and pee. lol Hess

Steve I just been banded. Have spent manys year latly depressed and never had a reason to be. I think sometimes we lose who we. Try to find your self again you are there some where. We are all getting older and cant do many of the things we felt were inportant. I ride motorcycles so does all my fam thats who I id with now. Yep I had lots of pain and had to sleep in a chair for 5 days. Were times I wondered what I did to myself. take your pain meds as often as you can and sip what ever you can get down. I'm a week out today and feel much better.down 28 lbs in 7 days. Drink you will feel better Good luck Hess

I was done on 2/28. got an upper resp infection that sucked with all the coughing. 6 days out I'm down 25 lbs as of this am. one more week of liq hess

I was done 2/28 and was spose to have the Qband but behold it was not there when I awoke. Pain control would had been better as I got a upper resp infection and cough all the time. Good luck man Hess

I got banded last Thusday and have 6 down 17 lbs

Sue started feeling much better today able to drink much more. Already off 3 oral diab meds just on Lantus now

Man I was done yesterday felt great no today hurt like heck. My lb is so tight that it took 1.5 hrs for the contrast to go though. Have been tring to sip but each sip is met with gas bubbles and can diff tell it is tight. Hope it gets better I have a purring sound coming from my throat sounds just like a cat. Does it more when I lay back Hess

I just found out my Dr is going to use ON Q pain buster on me when he sends me home any one ever used it or know anything about it. Is the Cath made of Latex? I have a Type 1 Latex allergy Thanks Hess
