Missouri Newbie

I am Brandy. I am 26 yrs old. I have been married almost 6 yrs. I have 2 daughters. A 4 yrs old and a 23 month old. I am currently a Nursing Student full time.

I got the LapBand on October 31, 2007. I am 3 months out and have lost 45 lbs. I had my surgery at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. My surgeon is Dr. De La Torre. He was ablsolutely wonderful.

I am happy to have found this forum.

Welcome Missourimom. My wife and I were banded in St. Louis by Dr. Minkin in Sept. 07 and we have both had three fills and I lost 33 pounds all together. If you have any questions just e-mail.

Chris

Greetings Mo.mom, I joined the forum today and am thrilled to hear you had surgery by Dr. De La Torre because I'm currently seeking the lapband at Du Paul with Dr. De La Torre also. I have been to a seminar, submitted my psychological eval, and my report from my primary Dr.along with blood work to the Dr. and hopefully it will be forwarded to my insc. co. on Monday. How did your pre-op. go and how long was it to have surgery once insc.approved you. JohnC
