I am from Australia and hoping to be banded in March. I have been waiting for the past year to be eligible for cover from my health insurer. The time is getting closer and I am so excited, I feel like my life will begin once my surgery has happened. I realize that its not all going to be easy but the way I feel about myself right now things can only improve.

hello i hope things work out and you cross over to bandland and yes your new life shall begin. i know mine has i feel absolutely wonderful since being banded. youll love it. good luck

My life is the same as it was a year ago...but I don't have meds or feel yucky in my skin....but my life is still the same.

Hi Nat, I imagine that my band date will also be in March unless I hear something soon from my ins. company. I wish you luck. I decided that I can handle anything that comes my way. Have handled so much with what comes with being overweight...it can only get better!

GraceUtah.................what a great job on your weight loss! Wow! You must be so proud and feel so good. I am pre-op, have lost 36lbs and am in waiting for ins. approval. I am to hear something tomorrow one way or the other. I can hardly breath. The anticipation is just too much. I want this so badly!!!!!!!!!!!
