East Texas LapBand Hopeful

Hello, my name is Tiffenii and I am from East Texas. I am in the final stages of the approval process, just waiting to hear. I have my fingers crossed as I am waiting to hear from UHC. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait!! I think that the lapband would be a God send for me. After having three children and eating a poor diet I have gained about 70 pounds in seven years!

I am 30 years old

BMI is 37

Hope to be banded June 08

Thanks georgia girl! It's nice to meet you too. This forum rocks. It's nice to know that there are others out there like me that want to take charge of their health and well being.

UHC requires the six month physician supervised weight loss. I do not know if I will have to do that yet. (My guess is yes) II have signed up for the program at the doctor's office just in case. I teach high school so I would like to have the surgery in June so the six months is no problem.

Hi, I live in Pittsburg. That is about 1 hour north of Tyler. Dr Querry in Pittsburg did my surgery. I thought about using Dr Babino in Tyler, but when Dr Querry came to Pittsburg I decided to use her. She is great!! Best of luck to you.
