Well here’s one I never thought I’d post.


I just found out I’m pregnant 11 months post op.

(Happy) accident (failed BC)

But I’m really worried about how it’ll affect me weight wise, I was doing so well I’ve hit my goal and was 3kg away from hitting the goal I’d set for my 1 year post up next month

Anyone been through this ? How did you navigate pregnancy after a sleeve ?

Congratulations! I've never been in this situation, but I just wanted to say congratulations!

Not me either but I also wanted to say congratulations. Only advice would be don’t fall for that ‘you’re eating for two’ line. You’re eating for an embryo, then a fetus and finally a maybe 8lb+/- baby. Get in touch with your dietician again and ask them about your nutritional needs throughout your pregnancy. Your surgeon may have some suggestions as well.

100% first thing I did was book in to see the dietician for early next month ?
I have a apt with my surgeon 1st April that was my 1 year post up check up so I guess that will also answer some questions
Still scary though ?
