I’m so excited to start my chapter

COUNT DOWN 64 DAYS

I am scheduled for June 14th. I will be here on a regular basis to give and get support. We can do this June Bugs!

Thank you, the closer I get the more nervous I feel, my sleeve is on the 13th

♥️ Congratulations you guys - June is almost upon us. I’m one full week of pre-op liquid today and 10lbs down. 7 days and counting for bypass on 1st June - it’s a challenge at times but I’m hanging in there for the 1st June xx

My liquid diet starts next Wed and surgery on the 7th. Excited but nervous as well.

Hey Brandi - whoop whoop! So you only have a pre-op diet for 7 days? Lucky you! What are you having done?

That's amazing, I guess it's just nerve racking, because there is no way to determine if your liver has shrimp you can't feel it you can't see it unless they do I guess a CT scan or something like that so it's like how do you know?

Yep, just a week liquid before. I'm having the sleeve done.

Oh ok - looks like there are a number of you who have gone for the sleeve. I’m having the bypass done. I’m not to nervous about it as I was before but I’m thinking that may change when I’m being wheeled to theatre! I do trust my surgeon which I think is important.

Def trust your surgeon. Mine did not want to do bypass due to absorption issues that are common. He said that since I didn't have a thyroid, he would rather do the sleeve to not risk my thyroid meds not absorbing.

Confirmed for June 8th! So very excited and loving being part of this community!
