So I finally have my surgery date. March 7th. Anyone else having their surgery around then? Would love to chat with anyone who needs support with this journey also.

  • My date is March 1, and I dont have to start liquid diet until afterwards. Just low carb/no sugar one week out, although I’ve already started as a way to get my head in the game and stay invested. Go

  • I heard about Premier Clear and got some from Amazon. I love it! The peach is my favorite. This is going to be my drink going forward after being a soda lover.

  • Congratulations!!!

Awesome to hear! I’m only on the liquid diet for 2 days (Sunday and Monday) Surgery is on Tuesday.

Yay we are on the same day. We will do great. I'm just a little nervous about the diet afterwards. I want to do everything the right way. They said to that keto is a good diet to follow. Makes me feel at ease a bit.
Yes after the surgery I’m on a 2 week liquid, 2 week purée and then 2 week soft food. We’ll do great. I keep hearing about the discomfort with the gas. My dr prescribed some medicine for it already. So we shall see

I was discharged on March 8th. The pain will ease up as time goes by. Today I was able to driver. One step at a time. Have Tylenol on deck. How are you doing with the liquid in take? I promise the pain will ease up. Yesterday was the first day I showered since the surgery. Trust me you’re going to be ok. Stay hydrated and rest so your body can heal.

I just had my surgery March 14, 2023…. How you doing
How are you feeling? Doing ok, just started the purée stage, which last for 2 weeks. The first week was the hardest. It’s gotten much easier :-)
