  3. My doctor says that sometimes you may just be thirsty vs hungry and to drink something when you get that feeling.

  7. Hey I was sleeved on the 7th and I’m down only 25 lbs and I’ve been beating myself up about it. Especially when I hear people have lost 30-40 pounds a month out. I’ve been exercising and portioning food. I did have my menstrual cycle which caused me to stall a few days, but since that has passed I seem to be trending in the right direction. I would say just continue to do what you’re doing, get that protein in and liquid intake. It will happen. Also, starting today I’m going to weight myself weekly vs daily. Trust I know exactly how you feel.

  9. Congrats! 3 week post op here. Finally hitting the gym tomorrow! Time will fly! I thought I was gonna die week 1… now I’m looking back like girl please! Lol! I remember you said you were in NJ, when you’re feeling up to it in a few weeks we should definitely hit the gym or do some outdoors exercises ?
  10. How are you feeling? Doing ok, just started the purée stage, which last for 2 weeks. The first week was the hardest. It’s gotten much easier :-)
  11. I was discharged on March 8th. The pain will ease up as time goes by. Today I was able to driver. One step at a time. Have Tylenol on deck. How are you doing with the liquid in take? I promise the pain will ease up. Yesterday was the first day I showered since the surgery. Trust me you’re going to be ok. Stay hydrated and rest so your body can heal.
  12. How did your surgery go?

  15. Good for you! I just had my March 7th and getting discharged today. Liquids were hard at first but much better today. Yeah it’ll be a challenge but stay strong! I think the Chinese stores make pretty good broths. Try that next time! It’s certainly not going to be a walk in the park but I’ll get easier as time progresses. You got this!
  16. Oh it’s about time you get headed to bed! I don’t think I’m will be able to sleep. I’m too excited and nervous!
  17. My surgery time is at 11:30 I have to be there at 9:30. How about you?
  18. Tomorrow is our big day! Good luck!!
  19. Yes after the surgery I’m on a 2 week liquid, 2 week purée and then 2 week soft food. We’ll do great. I keep hearing about the discomfort with the gas. My dr prescribed some medicine for it already. So we shall see
  20. Awesome to hear! I’m only on the liquid diet for 2 days (Sunday and Monday) Surgery is on Tuesday.
  21. Hey! It’s all most here! The big day!!
