Right side pain

Hello ?

I am 7 weeks PO and my right side discomfort is still there. It started small and the discomfort increased. I don’t call it pain since it only happened when I get up from sitting or when I am sleeping and move side to side. I had a CT scan of my stomach and they said no leak when I went to the ER for dehydration. I called my surgery nurse and she said the pain is normal when I was 3 weeks out. Does anyone still have discomfort on their right side this far out?

I'm 7.5 weeks out - gastric bypass. I still have a lot of diaphragm discomfort. Wearing a bra makes it worse. I think that wearing bottoms with a high or snug waistband, does too.

My surgeon's office has referred me for an upper GI series. I reckon it will come back "normal". I think my problem is just what I've been wearing and the activity I've been doing.

It may also be that as you are loosing weight your stance may have altered. I walk so much taller these days and it made me ache until my muscles got used to it. Also I needed new bras as my old ones gave me back aches just because of the size change.

i am like 8 months out and i still get the pains in the right side. surgeon ordered an ultrasound to check for gall stones. It came back clear. in 2 weeks i will have a HIDA scan which is a nuclear medicine test. To check the functon of the liver, gall bladder and all that stuff that connects it. One of my labs showed an elevated billiruben level (spelling)
