Hello! I've just begun the jurney. I'm very excited and anxious about having the band surgery. I've seen the surgeon, DR. Fisher at Kaiser in Richmond CA.

everyone has been so supportive. DR. Fisher recommended me to you and, I'm happy to be here.;)

:welcome: Miss Maudie! When are you getting banded? Your surgeon was right to recommend this site, there is a lot of great info here. Good luck to you and I wish you the best!

I commend your surgeon on his recommendation. He can fill you in on the basic mechanics...we can fill you in on everything else he doesn't tell you about. I'm 7 months into my journey and 56, and I have been reborn. I am loving my life.

My name is Lana and I have only been on this forum for about 3 or 4 weeks. I am at the beginning of my journey as well. I have aready had the seminar and my 1st appt. I will meet with the psycologist and dietician in the next 6 weeks. And next week I will have my chest xray and my labs done!! ONE MY WAY, congrats and welcome to the FORUM!
