New Here

So I am new to the forum, planning to have gastric bypass. Finally have cleared all the hurdles

  • Stress Test
  • Psych Eval
  • Sleep Study (started bi-pap two weeks ago)
  • Colonoscopy (had hot had one even though I'm 58)
  • Met with Dietician

Met with the surgeon yesterday and he said everything is good to go, needs to get authorization from the insurance company and then schedule the surgery. Looking like sometime in October.

Awesome. That time will be here before you know it.

Good luck. You will not regret it as long as you do what you are told to do and MOVE as much as possible. Walk as much as you can and you will see the pounds fall off. Surgery alone can make you lose weight but you have to develop a lifelong commitment of exercise and eating right while you have the surgery tool to get you rolling in the right direction.
