Leg Soreness

Hi! I am 7 days post-op and I’ve been walking around at home. But I haven’t been having protein and I’m up to about 30oz liquids a day. I’ve noticed my left calf feels sore or bruised when I touch it. I’ve been wondering if it’s a blood clot possibility or lack of protein and dehydration. Has anyone experienced this?

I’d maybe check out the ER just to rule the blood clot theory out. Better to be safe than sorry here.

Absolutely need to get this checked out in case it is DVT. It is not uncommon after any surgery for this to happen. Are you wearing your compression stockings? I would get to the ER or at VERY LEAST c

I would get to the ER or at VERY LEAST call the Doctor ASAP. I had similar pains and was sent to the ultrasound immediately. Ended up being nothing and I think was just due to all the walking I did in stocking feet the day of and after the surgery.
