Gas a year and a half out. . .

Morning!! So I had my RNY in May 2020. Every thing has went as expected!! But now all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago I develop gas - horrible horrible painful gas with ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING I EAT OR DRINK!!!! Water I get gas, yogurt I get gas, cottage cheese I get gas, diet Snapple I get gas, tator tot hotdish = gas, so on and so forth. I literally started the journal but everything was causing it!!! Anyone else had this problem and what did you do?

Maybe you have a tummy bug? Probably best to see a dr though. Probiotics might help too

I haven't heard of this. It may or may not be related to your surgery. I'd contact your PCP. Looks like it could be due to any number of things:

It doesn't seem like it would be related to your bariatric surgery this far after. Maybe you should see your gastroenterologist for an endoscopy to see what's going on. Have you tried Gas-X or anything?
