Hey,

My name is Victoria and I am having the gastric sleeve on 1st of Feb in the Galway clinic (Ireland).
My insurance is covering 90% so I am wondering if anyone knows what the 10% is please?

Do you know the estimated cost for your area? Sometimes your insurance company can help with that to give you a ballpark figure.

I was asked if I wanted to pay my portion when the hospital called to go over my pre surgery instructions.

Good luck. It really depends on what the insurance company says is an allowable charge which is usually way lower than the hospital says. If that is what they go off, it should not be very much money....I would say less than 5K in US dollars.
