I got a surgery date November 1, 2021- Gastric Bypass! I was originally scheduled for October 13, 2021. But during my EGD they thought I had Gastroparesis. So surgery was postponed until after I had a Gastric Emptying study. Now that test is complete, I don't have Gastroparesis, I instead I'm supposed to have Dumping Syndrome. I am a type 2 diabetic. I am just glad that is all behind me, I now can continue to move forward.

Hi I’m booked for 26th November. Pretty nervous to be honest

I have a date of November 9 - I’m tapering off coffee and have pre-op appointments next week. The time is going by fast, but I wish they could have worked me into the schedule earlier. I guess I’ll be in the purée stage by Thanksgiving.

I’m on my 8th day of the 2week liver shrinking diet. It’s gotten surprisingly easier, I’m not as hungry as I was the first 5days. My gastric bypass surgery is scheduled for November 8th. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. ?

HI all I just had my bypass rescheduled from December 8th to November 17th. I can't believe it is in just 2 weeks. I am so excited but kinda nervous too. Going from over 1 month to 2 weeks is crazy!!!!

I had my surgery on November 1st and it’s been very gassy. Definitely looking forward to the weeks ahead

I had my Bypass on November 3, the date changed on me several times. I'm finally made it to the losers club. They only give Tylenol at my hospital for pain. Sitting and standing up is the painful part. My blood sugar levels are already in the normal range. I'll be discharged tomorrow morning at 7:00 am

It was originally scheduled for 11/1, but last month there was a miscommunication with my cardiologist that resulted in an unnecessary 3-week delay. Frustrating, but I'm glad it wasn't longer! This is day 7 of the pre-op diet.
