revision from VSG to bypass and tricare
I would go with The Bypass or DS, several people with the sleeve usually end up getting revisions. Good luck to you! Get a few consults with surgeons.

Paxlovid and Gastric Bypass
I took Paxlovid two out of the 3 times I had covid. It helped tremendously, I took whole pills, no problem.

6 Months post surgery, minimal to no weight loss
I'd like to suggest you try Alkaline water. I had a hard time with water, my surgeon suggested Alkaline water which goes down very smoothly. I also do better adding Crystal Light or any other sugar free flavoring. I now also drink Purified water with no problem. I can't tolerate Spring water. Good luck to you on your journey! Side note, I lost inches first, the number on the scale has been moving very slow. ?

Too much protein
All surgeons are different. Mine encouraged me to 80-100 grams of protein a day. I had a Gastric Bypass [emoji1745]

Bariatric Abdominal Binder
I had bypass on November 3 and it's very uncomfortable to sit down and stand up. Or to get up from laying down. I only have Tylenol which hasn't helped me much. I do have a binder but I didn't think it helped much.

Sandwiches and chips
There are low carb breads you can try. Carb smart and Sola are two brands available in most grocery stores

November 2021 surgeries
I had my Bypass on November 3, the date changed on me several times. I'm finally made it to the losers club. They only give Tylenol at my hospital for pain. Sitting and standing up is the painful part. My blood sugar levels are already in the normal range. I'll be discharged tomorrow morning at 7:00 am

Disappointed
My surgeon said it is best to have your A1C under 8 for surgery. If the A1C is too high you risk infection and other risk.

Chewing gum after surgery
I was told not to chew gum, or drink through straws.

November 2021 surgeries
I got a surgery date November 1, 2021- Gastric Bypass! I was originally scheduled for October 13, 2021. But during my EGD they thought I had Gastroparesis. So surgery was postponed until after I had a Gastric Emptying study. Now that test is complete, I don't have Gastroparesis, I instead I'm supposed to have Dumping Syndrome. I am a type 2 diabetic. I am just glad that is all behind me, I now can continue to move forward.

Anyone have Gastroparesis?
I am newly diagnosed with Diabetic Gastroparesis. For year's I've had the symptoms and never knew it. My doctor always said my problem was GERD. I was already getting RNY, since getting my EGD it has been cancelled until further testing. I will be getting the stomach emptying test in October.

Any October 2021 Surgeries?
My surgery got cancelled after getting my EGD. They say I have Diabetic Gastroparesis. Now before I can get my Bariatric surgery (which actually is a treatment for Gastroparesis) I have to do a four hour stomach emptying test. I will get that on October 12. Hopefully surgery will be in my future after the surgeon gets those results.

Any October 2021 Surgeries?
I am in the same boat with returning to work. My surgeon only gives two weeks off. My employer requires 100% fit for duty. I worry about that.
