Chest pain after unfill

Banded 7 years ago , had a 2 mil unfill last year because of night cough and acid . All great after wards , 12 month later night cough and acid again 2 mil unfill all good again except now Get big chest pains a few times a day plus lots of gas since the unfil any ideas ??

I think it would be prudent to call your Doc and express clearly the extent of your discomfort and work out a plan of action(s) to resolve it.

Had a band for several years. Successful weight loss but later it embedded into my esophagus caused all kinds of problems. I was forced to remove it. The night cough and acid was the beginning of gerd/esophagitis. Perhaps call your team, and get a barium swallow to look at your band just to make sure you are safe from serious issues.

Please see a surgeon. Bands fail and are frequently revised to RSG Gastric Bypass. Your chest pain may be an indicator that all is not well with your lap band.
