I'm on day 8 post op. The first 6 days were very difficult. I feel like I've turned a corner now. The worst is behind me. Hang in there. Don't get down. It is going to get better.

The first day or two are bad, there's no getting around it. Hard to take in enough fluid or protein, hard to change positions, and all that mufferthunkin' gas. Make sure you're walking a few times a day.

I promise, it gets better, and FAST.

It’ll get better; just hang in there! ?

I just hit my one month mark, it’s rough in the beginning but it gets better as it goes !

Congrats on your surgery. I'm 12 days out and yes, the first week was miserable! I'm now feeling so much better. Drinking is easier, moving is almost back to normal, and I'm still really tired, but I'm generally feeling human again.
