After a long six months, I finally received my surgery date for Wednesday June 9th. I'm absolutely thrilled! Anyone else joining me in June?

My date is the 16h ! Excited but nervous.

Just scheduled my surgery date for June 22nd! I start the pre surgery diet tomorrow. I’m so excited!

Yeah! I’m in UT too and scheduled for June 21. Just started the preop diet today. Where are you getting your surgery?

I'm on day 4 of my LRD now, have lost 6lbs WHAT?! I'm allowed milk, yogurt, fruit and vegetables on mine and it really isn't bad at all.

Hello, my surgery was June 1st so I’m in recovery stage. Doing good, but protein shakes are the worst!! Ugh!! Good luck all!

Just had my surgery on the 7th and I am back home. Seem to be okay with sipping liquids but doing it very slowly. I didn't take any of my vitamins but plan to try and take them tomorrow.

Yay! Which ones are you trying? I like the premier protein and fair life shakes ice cold. Is your stomach not tolerating it?

Congratulations! My postop diet has me taking vitamins a month after surgery. However I’m going to do the vitamin patch right after surgery. Are you feeling ok and drinking soups and shakes?

So far I am drinking water and a protein elecrolyte drink. I will try some broth with protein powder tomorrow. I am relieved that I am able to stay hydrated but need to push my protein levels up. Still needing my pain meds but hoping I can switch to Tylenol tomorrow. I ended up having a hernia repair so maybe that is part of the reason my pain still lingering.

Just checking in. I'm at home now and doing pretty good. So far no real nausea. Drinking water and protein drinks thus far. Had some cream of chicken soup, yogurt, and pureed turkey while in the hospital. Pain isn't too bad. Heartburn is gone! Most the gas pain is gone, just have some pain from surgery itself. So far no hunger. Hope everyone else is doing well!

After years and two different states I finally received my gastric bypass on June first. I am having issues of buyers remorse I have read are very normal at this time so I’m looking forward to it going away. Not feeling hungry ever the last week and a half has been a new experience. My mind however just wants a big subway sandwich lol
