Favorite high protein recipes

Looking for some new recipes to try. I am not very picky and eat just about everything. I've found some things on Pinterest, but kind of getting tired of the same things all the time. High protein recipes would be great. I was never a huge meat eater even before surgery, so the protein part is sometimes a struggle. I do sometimes do the protein shakes, but I would prefer not doing them unless I really need that extra protein. I've been doing pretty good getting my protein with the food I eat, but like I said I need some new recipes!

check out "The World According to Eggface" blog. She had weight loss surgery several years ago and loves cooking (she's also very active in the bariatric community - including on the board of the Obesity Action Committee). She's got recipes for all stages on here:

My favorite high protein meals are Dal/Lentils or black eyed peas.
I don’t make Dal the traditional Indian way but you can easily cook it in a instapot or crockpot, add some onion, tomatoes, garlic powder, salt and pepper, chili powder, or any of your favorite seasoning. Dal aka lentils are super awesome for high protein and taste sooo good!

In my opinion, there's almost always something (or multiple somethings) that can be swapped out in a recipe for something that has more protein or is healthier.

Swap ground turkey or chicken for beef, add protein powder to almost anything.
