How long post surgery is it considered safe to get a surgery? For example, on your leg or arm.

it's probably safe to get a tattoo pretty early on (but I'd ask your clinic just to be sure), but the thing to keep in mind is your shape is going to change quite a bit, depending on how much weight you lose. People often have sagging, hanging skin on their arms and legs after massive weight loss (well, torso, too - but you asked about arms and legs). So your tattoo would sag and hang right along with it. It may not be affected too much on your lower leg or arm - but upper extremities can get pretty saggy.

I was wondering that. I already have one on each wrist and another on my side calf, but I want another. I’ve been wondering how the surgery would impact them and have read things about how they may appear larger on a smaller frame. So I’m feeling hesitant but I’ve been wanting this other ink for awhile too. Will have to wait and see.

I think I remember that when I've gotten tattoos, the consent form says "I certify i haven't had surgery in the last x weeks." I'd call the tattoo place and ask what their cutoff is.
