Houston Psych. Eval

Hi all,

I'm new here and hoping someone in Houston have any recommendations on who they've used for weightloss eval? Preferably west Houston/Katy. Dr will be send me a list tomorrow but would like some feedback from patients.

Also, I'm self pay, if anyone can let me know how much theirs cost? Just so I know what ball park I should expect.

Thanks in advance. ?

  • That's awesome! I bet you're excited. Who is your surgeon, which hospital will you use? I will be seeing Dr. Sherman Yu. Who will you be seeing?

  • Glad you're coming along smoothly now. How are you feeling? Hope the lbs come off easy for you!! I'm doing ok, struggling with the clear liquid diet the past few days but surgery is Monday so YAY

  • Most people only write reviews when upset. Rarely do I remember to write a good review, although I'd love to get into the habit of doing so.

I highly recommend the Davis Clinic at Memorial Hermann. They have a really good program for pain/nausea management post-op (with a little help pre-op) - I think it really helped and the surgery was truly a piece of cake. I’m 11 weeks post-op and lost about 45 lbs (I had lost close to 70 pre-op on my own). Did the sleeve and have been really happy.

Wow that’s amazing Crick! Who’s doctor?

Dr. Kajese was my doctor. Really great. She’s very good at explaining what the process is going to be like in simple terms and the staff at the office is supportive.

I also used the Davis Clinic with Dr. Primomo, but I got to meet Dr. Kajese when I had some complications. Both of the doctors are amazing, and I felt really supported by the staff. They'll tell you that they're making a lifetime commitment to you so that if you start struggling with regain or anything down the road, you can contact them for help.

Hi,

Surgery went like a breeze for me. Recovering nicely. I used Dr. Sherman Yu, everything is virtual as far as visits go for now due to covid, met him for the first time before surgery, all visits since have been virtual. I of course recommend him, very friendly and approachable. I was self pay and was fairly quick with process.

I'm so glad the surgery went well for you!!! I'm doing really well too!
