I’m sorry I don’t have advice but I wanted to say lots of hugs!!! I hope it gets better for you soon. I can imagine how difficult this is for you. Lots of prayers!

You have to sip, sip, sip all day long. Gatorade Zero. Water. Flavored Water (Crystal Light, etc.), Soup broth, sugar-free popsicles all count as water to keep you hydrated. Very important.

Hi all, I'm new to this. My surgery date was 12/9, since then I have lost 45lbs, but feel nauseous all the time and dry heave all the time. I am now on nausea medication and the dr said if I can't get more liquid and nutrients in I could have to have a pic line put in and get an iv daily. I was getting around 40oz of liquid, but can only eat about a 1/2 cup total of cottage cheese, or soup a day. I also drink about half of a premier protein. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and if so any suggestions.
The hardest part is to drink liquid while working.
