  1. Hi there, new to the group. I had RNY 12/17 and have been suffering from nausea as well. I take 2 different types of anti-emetics but it doesn't always help. I have a hard time with the protein shakes and electrolyte drinks. Anything sweet makes me nauseated which is so different than prior to surgery, cause I used to love sweet things. Also having hard time meeting my protein goals. So I feel what you are going through. It has been a difficult journey thus far, but hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel.
