Sorry to hear about the previous troubles. I almost had that happen to me. The day before my surgery was scheduled it still hadn't been approved, but the office staff at my surgeon's office got CIGNA to escalate the case and managed to get it approved in time. Good luck with your surgery!

Sometimes, I think dealing with insurance is dropping into the 9th circle of hell.
