Starting last night, I had some minor oozing oozing from my main incision. As it was mostly clear (tinged red), didn't smell like puss, and I didn't have any other signs of infection, I figured it was normal. Starting this morning, what looked like old blood starting steadily oozing out. Long story short, the Dr met me at the hospital, and it turned out to be a hematoma (blood pooling between the layers of the incision). He cut one of the stitches, drained and irrigated it, and packed it with gauze.
Hopes this helps someone out. It seems while this is not too common, it's not unheard of.
