Does anyone know if antibiotics damage our sleeve? I tried to ask my surgeon’s office today and the nurse said, “That’s a question for your primary care doctor”. Umm, what?

I will be undergoing a treatment shortly for h. pylori it includes two antibiotics, the treatment was prescribed by my weight loss surgeon. So I am guessing not but I am no medical expert. I am concerned about the good bacteria that will likely die off as a result of the treatment so will be ensuring plenty of probiotics.

My surgery involves a sleeved stomach and I'm on Azithromycin for an abscess tooth and I've been on it for 9 days now, and I've been fine. Also, my primary had gastric sleeve surgery and she was the one who prescribed the antibiotics so... pretty sure it's fine.
