Stomach burning

I had my surgery the 11th and came home yesterday. I can't sleep because I'm so uncomfortable and my stomach is burning. Any advice? Is stomach burning normal?

I had it for a few days also from the acid and blood in your stomach - I was told to take a small amount of milk of magnessia and drink as much water as i could = It only lasted a day our two

sounds like acid. Did they put you on a PPI, like Protonix or omeprazole (Prilosec)? A lot of surgeons put patients on these for the first couple of months. Call your surgeon's office and let them know what's going on.

I guess I'm just paranoid. Yes, I'm on an acid reducer. You know how it is right after surgery and you worry about every little thing.
