    had a sonogram yesterday to see hows everything inside ...doc said everything look good ...my question is why am i vomiting blood

    That’s that’s not good. How far postop are you? Can you think of anything that may have triggered this e.g food getting stuck? What colour is the blood, bright red is usually from the upper digestive system, pink and frothy from the lungs, dark and looks like coffee grounds from the stomach.

    Hopefully it’s something minor and they are able to fix it quickly

    I am sorry to hear this! Is it bright red or does it look like coffee grounds? I also was throwing up blood and that is what led me to surgery. Hope it isn't anything serious!

    I had gastritis and they later found a fistula. I had a revision from a VBG in 1998.

    A revision is when the change you from one type of weight loss procedure to a Gastric Bypass. A VBG is a Vertical banded gastroplasty, that isn't very popular.

    I'm sorry to hear this. Please be sure to tell the docs and nurses about how much fresh fruit juice you have been having each day. Pineapple and citrus are significantly acidic and could have caused an anastomotic ulcer/perferation of the suture line, etc...

    Hope they get you figured out quickly.
