Nutritionist issues

Anyone else having issues getting an extended nutritionist appointments? I've got one at Thanksgiving, but I've tried to get it moved up. They say they don't have any appointments available because of some new standard that is being created. Anyone heard of this and have any idea what's going on?

Wow, that sounds weird. Are you on insurance? I was seeing a nutritionist, covered by my insurance and had a (fairly generous) limit to my visits annually. I've never heard that from my insurance, but not all insurance contracts are alike.

Took me 2 months to get a dietitian appt for them to cancel it a day before and tell me to wait another 6 weeks....no thanks

The one I go to has two days blocked off for patients of my surgeon and his partner and their office can schedule their patients on those days which is nice. She sees other surgeons patients as well but I've never had problems getting in with her.
