Length of surgery

If you had both parts of the surgery drive at once, how long did your surgery last? Trying to figure out how long my wife may be waiting

    I'm still pre-op (Traditional BPD-DS 9/17). Surgeon said total surgery would be about 6 hours. But he's also doing a Hiatal Hernia repair (1-2 hours) and Appendectomy (1-2 hours). That leaves 2-

I think the actual surgery was 1.5-2 hours but what takes the most time is the recovery room. I was in there for about 5 hours until they could find me a room.

Mine took 2 1/2 hrs...

Mine was a revision from RNY to DS. It took 9 hours.

Full DS. 4.5-5 hours.
