I just got the call this a.m. that my insurance has approved my surgery!!!!!! Omg.... Sooooo excited. Surgery date is July 22nd. I start my liquid diet on July 8th. This is really happening! I have so many different emotions right now! Is there anyone else having Surgery on July 22nd?

Lucky! Our process started Dec 10

The insurance requires 90 days of supervision, meetings with a dietician, all of which were silly as I had the band for 10 years. It quit working about 4 years ago and I had it removed it last year. Then I had to wait for the journey for this new surgery.

Thank you for that information, maybe that is what's going on with me! They are waiting to submit after I comlplete the dietitian visits and psych. Which I have had one dietitian visit 2nd coming up next week and have done the psych eval! Thank you again!
