So my nutritionist suggested Flinstones chewable vitamins at my multivitamin.. I got a generic store brand version and she approved them. They are kinda gross but I can deal with that! I’m just concerned or wondering if there is something better. I know there’s tons of brand and soft chews and all that but they are soo expensive! So if those 2 and half month supply of knock of Flinstones chewables for $6 is just as good as the $30-40 one month supply then I will stick with them! Just curious is anyone else was suggested the Flinstones vitamins..

My team recommends 2 flinstone complete, calcium citrate plus Vitamin D-3 1200-1500 mg/day (500-600mg 2-3 times a day- three if post menopause) and B12 500 mcg/day (sublingual)

I've always taken Centrum or the generic equivalent (both CVS and Walgreens carry generic equivalents)

my clinic did recommend Flintstones, but I know the ASBMS (Amer Soc of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery) does not recommend children's Vitamins, so I decided to go with Centrum. I asked the dietitian about Centrum before I started taking them, and she said they were fine (I take two a day). As long as your vitamins meet the ASBMS standards, they should be fine (mine do...)

I take GNC soft chews, and yes they're on the expensive side, but they work best for me because they don't make me sick to my stomach like a lot of Vitamins do and they make me feel like I'm eating something.

My clinic also said no flintstones and suggested Centrum as budget option. Amazon will do subscription services for vitamins and supplements and deliver them every month.

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
