February Surgery

  • Popular Post
Hello 5th Buddies. I had my bypass on the 5th and things have been so surprisingly great. Got discharged immediately the next morning. Getting in the Water and Protein. Doing homemade broths and tolerating them. I have my first play op appointment tomorrow. Not even in pain which I am surprised by that. I have more knee pains than surgery pains from walking lol. Stay pumped everyone. The honeymoon is in full effect and let’s make the most out of it. I am sure they’re tougher days ahead but enjoy the ride.

Just got the best news today from post op, it’s on to soft food. I can advance past the liquids to soft protein. Everything checked out at the DR and progress is where it needs to be. What did you do for your first soft meal?

My first soft meal was a scrambled egg with a teaspoon of shredded cheese. It took me 30 minutes to eat half of it, but it was delicious!

Hello everyone, Feb. 1st surgery date. I have my first follow up appt. tomorrow. I am having some bad cramping and hoping its just my bowels. I have been walking some but it's rainy here in AL. I am not sure how much I have lost. My surgery is a revision from stomach stappling done 35 Yrs ago . ( YES, I'm old.) Lol anyone else here with a revision?
